Have Fun with your Yoga
It not important if you are stiff or have never done any yoga before - all students are welcome!
Some of my students have been doing yoga for just a few months whilst others have been doing it for over 30 years.
In this photo below Gill is near the window doing Adha Halasana (plough) on a chair with a bolster on top of her legs to press them down, this helps the back to release, (one of many variations of shoulder stand). In the background you can see scaffolding from my builders that are working on my new Yoga Studio in my loft. I make sure no work is going during my classes though.

The photo on the left are husband and wife enjoying yoga together each week in my Sunday morning class. Dena is on the floor doing Adho Mukha Virasana & Fernando is practising a backband over Dena's back. Both are benefiting from a good stretch.
In this photo I have Robert and Nick, 2 strong men who have made very fast progress although they both had various problems in their back and
ankles and knees which have now diminished
or dissappeared with weekly yoga sessions.
In the next photo below, I am teaching the fish in the Red Sea how to do Pranyama - Nadi Sodhana (Channel Cleaning Breath) in particular. One of my other activities besides practising yoga every day and teaching is going scuba diving. I absolutely love it and I find I only need 60% of the usual amount of air for my dives (due to practising Pranyama regularly). Yoga can help with various activities as it can improve your breathing. Beneficial for Singers, dancers, swimmers and of course divers, people with asthma and even hay fever (for me anyway).

Here I am on holiday with my my husband (he is not in photo) and my mum (Iyengar yoga teacher -qualified 1979) in Eilat, practising yoga early in the morning beside the pool.
